I ordered from dovetailworkwear the shipping took way too long. I knew I might have to wait a bit, but this went past a normal delay and turned into one of those situations where you're basically forced to be patient because you have no other choice. The tracking barely updated, so for days I had no clue where my package even was. It just looked stuck with no movement at all. The clothes might be totally fine, but by the time they showed up, the whole experience had already annoyed me. I probably won’t order again unless they get the shipping figured out

In my opinion, there just wasn’t a whole lot to choose from. I wish they had more styles and sizes available because I probably would’ve found something I liked.

I really like the fabric and they do seem well made, like i said, the quality is definitely there. The fit was just kind of tricky for me. The waist felt a little tight, but the hips had more room than I expected, so they don’t feel super comfortable to wear all day. Like i said, they’re not so bad that I feel like I have to return them, but I do wish the waist and hip sizing matched up a bit better.

I really wanted to love these because the idea of tough work pants actually made for women is great, and the fabric seemed solid too. But the fit was just kind of off on me, like weird in a few places, and then the return took longer than I expected. Not a total miss, just didn’t end up being the right fit for me.

I tried to return it and do an exchange, but the whole thing was way more annoying than it needed to be. I kept waiting for the exchange to actually happen and it just never did. That was it

I went in hoping to grab a few specific things, but once again everything I wanted was sold out. What made it more frustrating was getting different answers from different employees about when items would be back in stock. One person said later that day, another said next week, and someone else wasn’t sure at all. I get that things sell out, but the inconsistent answers make it really annoying to plan around.

I’m particular about what I buy, especially with workwear, because I don’t want to keep replacing the same pair of pants every few months. I do appreciate that Dovetail talks about using better materials and making clothes that are meant to last, my pants have held up really well so far. That part definitely feels less wasteful than buying cheaper ones over and over.

That said, I’d like the sustainability info on the site to be easier to find and compare. Things like where items are made, more specific fabric details, and what happens with returns or worn-out clothes would help me feel more confident. It seems like they’re making an effort, but by my standard, the transparency could still be a lot clearer...

My kneepads slid in easily and, just going by feel, they seem like a good fit. They mostly stayed in place while I was using them, which is what I was hoping for. My only gripe is that the openings could be a little bigger, but overall my gut says they’ll do the job just fine.

My order came in a really thin mailer and the bag was already partly ripped when it got here. The clothes were fine overall but they had some dust on them from the box or shipping I guess. For what I paid I expected the packing to be a bit better. Not the worst experience but it just didn’t feel like much care went into it.

I really wanted to like these pants, and at first they seemed promising. But the tool pockets are awkwardly placed and not nearly deep enough, because apparently tools are supposed to just politely stay put. My tape measure kept slipping off, and smaller bits fell out every time I bent down. So, cute idea, but not exactly helpful if you actually need to work in them

This fit really well, especially for women. It’s comfortable, it sits nicely, and it just feels like a good fit overall. A good fit makes such a difference

I do like how many pockets these have, and they’re better than a lot of other work pants I’ve worn. That said, a couple of them sit kind of awkwardly when I’m bending down or kneeling, and my phone feels snug in one pocket for some reason. Maybe it depends on what you’re carrying or how you move around, I don’t know. It’s not a huge issue, but I wish the pocket layout was a little more comfortable overall. I’d give them 3 stars...

I threw this on when it started raining i was surprised how fast it soaked through. Like, way too quick for a jacket I expected to keep me dry.

I really wanted to like these pants, but after maybe 2 or 3 hours they started feeling stiff and scratchy. The waistband also dug in whenever I sat down, which got annoying fast. For around this price, I was expecting them to be a lot more comfortable.

It felt thick enough when I first got it, so I was happy with it at first. But after a few washes, the material started getting stiff, so it’s not as comfortable as it was in the beginning.

I assumed the whole order might be messed up when I saw one wrong item, but it turned out everything else was fine. Not perfect, but mostly right

I picked up a pair of Dovetail work pants i’ve been happy with them. The stretch is really nice, I can bend, squat, and climb in and out of the truck without feeling like the fabric is fighting me. My sister actually noticed I wasn’t constantly adjusting them like I do with some of my other work pants. The only reason I’d give them 4 stars is the waist felt just a little snug at first, but it did loosen up after I wore them a bit. Overall, they’re comfortable and easy to move in.

I do like the overall look of Dovetail Workwear, it has that sturdy, outdoorsy feel without looking too basic. Some of the colors are really pretty, and the pants definitely look flattering in the photos!
That said, a few items come across a little bulky to me, and I’m not sure I’d reach for everything in my everyday wardrobe. The style is cool, just a bit hit or miss for my personal taste.

I ordered my usual size, but the fit was just weird in a bunch of places. I’m not sure if it was just the one I got or if the sizing runs different overall, but it definitely didn’t feel right on me

I really liked that they offer different inseam options because it made shopping for pants so much less annoying for me. I was actually able to pick a length that fits well, which doesn’t always happen. My only complaint is that a couple of the styles I wanted didn’t have my size in stock.
